	He married Elizabeth Woodhams on 17^th Jul 1819 at Ash by Wrotham, Kent, Witnesses Dan Collison and Maria Cheesman. She was born 1791 at Hartfield, Sussex; christened 22^nd Mar 1791 at St. Mary's Church, Hartfield, Sussex; died Oct to Dec 1879 at Mile End Old Town, London, registered at Mile End Old Town District, London, ref: 1879 Q4 Vol 1C Page 411. They had the following children:

3	ii	Carey who was born 25^th Feb 1827 at West Yoke Farm, Ash by Wrotham, Kent, recorded as Elizabeth but referred to in later life as Carey (after her grandmosther)

	She married Joseph Slaughter on 22^nd Feb 1848 at St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, London, witnesses Richard Read Spencer, ?? & Sarah Ayerst. He was born 31^st Jul 1824 at Sandhurst, Kent

	3. Carey Slaughter [Crowhurst] was the daughter of William Crowhurst, Farmer and Elizabeth Crowhurst [Woodhams]. She was born 25^th Feb 1827 at West Yoke Farm, Ash by Wrotham, Kent, recorded as Elizabeth but referred to in later life as Carey (after her grandmosther)
