All that remaining part of the Parish of Rotherfield commencing at Paine's Corner to Maynard's Gate Keeping the stream to Johnson's Bridge the bottom of Hornshurst Wood to within eights Rods of Cowford Bridge on the Rotherfield Road to Brown's Cottage and the Village taking all on the West of the main Road to Walter's Brick Kiln, Water's Hill and Paine's Corner including the Hall, Rectory, Mottins Hill, the Warren, Peeps and Maynard's Gate Farms.
