All that part of the Parish of Burwash comprising Turzes, Crowhurst Bridge, the Shrub, part of the Lodge Farm-house, the North side of the Turnpike Road leading to the Village of Burwash, the North side of the Village, Brooksmarle, Mottensden, Franchise, Brownings, ..., Sellers Brook, ...., and the North side of the Turnpike Road leading from the Village to the Boundary Stone of the new Ecclesiastical District marked No 2, and which lies to the South East of Haltdown Lane, through Alder Wood and Pasture Wood to Furnace Gill Stream; then to the River Rother and following that River to Crowhurst Bridge.
