He was born 1824 at Gardner Street, Herstmonceux, Sussex; christened 28^th May 1824 at All Saints Church, Herstmonceux, Sussex, parents George & Ann Gander. They had the following children:

	She married David Catt, miller on 27^th Jan 1877 at All Saints Church, Herstmonceux, Sussex, witnesses Edwin & Sarah Hook. He was born Jan to Mar 1853 at Herstmonceux, Sussex, registered at Hailsham District, Sussex, ref: 1853 Q1 Vol 2B Page 61. They had the following children:
