  He married Ellen Elizabeth Martin on Oct to Dec 1899, registered at Uckfield District, Sussex, ref: 1899 Q4 Vol 2b Page 284. She was born 1876 at Birmingham, Warwickshire; christened 1st Oct 1876 at Holy Trinity Church, Forest Row, Sussex, daughter of Walter Martin (shoemaker) & Emily Martin. They had the following children:
