	He married (1) Sarah Stovell on 13^th Nov 1858 at St Mary, Fetcham, Surrey. She was born 1839; died 26^th Mar 1861 at Great Bookham, Surrey. They had the following children:
	i	Thomas who was born 1859 at Surrey; christened 29^th Jun 1859 St Mary, Fetcham, Surrey, son of Thomas Cannon (labourer) and Sarah Cannon; died 29^th Jun 1859
	ii	Sarah who was born 1860 at Surrey; christened 13^th May 1860 St Mary, Fetcham, Surrey, daughter of Thomas Cannon (labourer) and Sarah Cannon
