	He married Emily Everest on 21^st Jun 1863 at St. Mary's Church, Hartfield, Sussex. She was born 1843 at East Grinstead, Sussex; christened 26^th Feb 1843 at St Swithin Parish Church, East Grinstead, Sussex. They had the following children:

	She married Charles Barton, farm labourer on Oct to Dec 1886, registered at Uckfield District, Sussex, ref: 1886 Q4 Vol 2b Page 259. He was born 1865 at Poundfield, Rotherfield, Sussex; christened 10^th Dec 1865 at St. Denys Church, Rotherfield, Sussex, son of Amos Barton (labourer) and Matilda Barton

	3. William Taylor, cartage contractor was the son of William Taylor, charcoal burner and Emily Taylor [Everest]. He was born 1875 at Rotherfield, Sussex
	He married Ada Annie Bailey on Jan to Mar 1899, registered at Uckfield District, Sussex, ref: 1899 Q1 Vol 2b Page 159. She was born 1882 at Rotherfield, Sussex; christened 29^th Jan 1882 at St. Denys Church, Rotherfield, Sussex. They had the following children:
