He was born 1806 at Wartling, Sussex; christened 14^th Aug 1806 at St. Giles Church, Dallington, Sussex, parents Thomas & Martha Noakes, private, received 10 Jul 1809. They had the following children:

	He married Harriet Newman on 24^th Feb 1872 at St. Peter & St. Paul Church, Hellingly, Sussex, witnesses William & Harriet Newman. She was born 1837 at Hellingly, Sussex; christened 6^th Aug 1837 at St. Peter & St. Paul Church, Hellingly, Sussex. They had the following children:
