	He married Anne Bourner on 22^nd Dec 1818 at St. Mary's Church, Hartfield, Sussex, by licence with consent of parents, witnesses James & Maria Bourner. She was born 1801 at Crowhurst, Sussex; christened 10^th May 1801 at St. George's Church, Crowhurst, Sussex; buried 28^th Dec 1858 at St. Giles Church, Dallington, Sussex, aged 57 years. They had the following children:

She was born 31^st Jul 1813 at Heathfield, Sussex; christened 29^th Aug 1813 at Heathfield Chapel, Heathfield, Sussex; emigrated c 1853 to Ohio, USA. They had the following children:
