	1. Sir Thomas Pelham, 1st Baron Pelham of Laughton was the son of Sir John Pelham, 3rd Baronet Pelham of Laughton and Lady Lucy Pelham [Sydney]. He was born c 1653; 4th Baronet Pelham of Laughton Jan 1702/3; 1st Baron Pelham of Laughton 16^th Dec 1706; died 23^rd Feb 1711/12
	He married (1) Elizabeth on 26^th Nov 1679 at St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex. She was born c 1655, daughter of Sir William Jones; died Oct 1681; buried 13^th Oct 1681. They had the following children:

	She married Sir John Shelley, 4th Baronet Shelley of Michelgrove on 16^th Mar 1726/27 at St Giles in the Field, London. He was born 5^th Mar 1691; died 6^th Sep 1771. They had the following children:

	He married Lady Henrietta Godolphin on 2^nd Apr 1717. She was born c 1695, daughter of Francis Godolphin, 2nd Earl of Godolphin and Henrietta Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough; died 17^th Jul 1776
