  He married Hester Wood on 8th May 1720 at St. Thomas à Becket's Church, Framfield, Sussex. She was born c 1700; died Feb 1782 at Mayfield, Sussex, widow; buried 24th Feb 1782 at St. Dunstan Church, Mayfield, Sussex. They had the following children:
