All that part of the Parish of Herstmonceux which lies West and North West from the boundary of the parish by Newbridge following the road from thence to the Crossways, then along the Turnpike Road to the bottom of Vines Hill from thence following the footpath to Bedlam Green then crossing the road into the footpath leading to the one from Studdens to Gardner Street, from thence to Backham Lane to the North end and from thence following the footpath to the Street Field and from thence by footpath to Chilthurst and all those detached parts of the parish of Herstmonceux (including Cowbeech, Foul Mile and Gingers Green.)
