Reference RG 11/1043: Hailsham District; Hellingly Subdistrict; Laughton Enumeration District No 6; Enumerator: P V Starnes
Part of the Civil Parish of Laughton which lies Northwest of the Turnpike Road leading from Lewes to Battle as far as Stone Cross & Northeast of the Road leading from thence to East Hoathly to the Boundary of the Parish, including the Houses on both sides of the last mentioned Road, Mopeshole, Park Corner, the Roebuck Inn, Shortgate, the Sarjeants, also Laughton Lodge.
