The Will of Richard Waite

 

Richard Wayte of the parish of Leigh, yeoman, my body to be decently buried. I give to my brother William Wayte £70. I give to my brother John Wayte £50. I give to William Mogeridg of Tunbridg £5. I give to William, Edward, Ann and Elizabeth Mogeridg, the children of the above named William Mogeridg £5 to each of them. I give to my sister Waggon £30, she paying to her children out of it 20s each. I give to my sister Mary Wayte £40, with the furniture of the chamber where she now lies and one pair of the best hemp sheets. I make my brother Edward Wayte my sole executor and the legacies above mentioned to be paid by him within the space of 2 years, excepting the legacies to William Mogeridges children which I order to be paid to them as they severally come to the age of 20 or be married and if any of them dies before they come to the age of 20 or marries then their legacy shall go to the rest of the children surviving.
