Henry Weller
Son of Thomas, grandson of Richard of this parish
a man of old time honesty and worth
who scorned the follies of a vicious age
stoutly holding fast to righteousness and truth,
a faithful servant of Nature.
He lived a bachelor, but not for himself alone, but for his fellows
For, possessed of manifold knowledge and experience
and most learned in the laws of England
His fellow countrymen by his counsel
Freely and with ready goodwill he succoured.
To his Friend and kindred and to the whole human Race
Sincere Just and Benevolent
And most Loyal to his country
He showed himself
He died on March 2^nd 1720 aged 81.
