Wheatley, William. 69. Now an inmate of the East Grinstead Union for the last 8 or 9 years. Born on the Forest near New Bridge and cut litter all my life. Has cut for:

 Fincham. Henry Young, dead, and William Young;
Holly Hill. Mr. Hale;
Hartfield Farm. Captain West;
Furnace Farm. James Bridger, Daniel Weeding;
Peculiars. Peter Fillery;
Upper Parrock. Francis Jenner, bailiff [and] Stephen Langridge Sr and Jr;
Lower Parrock. Bellingham;
Lines and Andrews Bank. Robert Edwards;
Forest House. John Brooker;
Fitness Farm. William Fitness, farmer;
Claypits, Hartfield. George Wheatley;
Cut turf and peat for poor people.
